The Company
PR&A was established under the name Prandini, Rabbat & Associates in 1996, by João Carlos Prandini and Marcelo Rabbat. Its name was altered in March 2006, after Prandini decided to leave the partnership. At that time, other partners joined the company (Ricardo Pires and Sergio Malacrida). These were already working in the company shortly after its foundation.
PR&A began its activities developing market risk systems, and until 1997 its clients were restricted exclusively to banks, particularly in their treasury sector. Thereafter the company diversified both its activities as well as its clients.
Nowadays PR&A is a consulting company specializing in investment fund analyses, FIDC analysis, software construction for measuring several financial risk modalities (market, credit, liquidity and operational risk) and consulting services for developing and enhancing risk areas in banks and corporations.
